Where Do I Shop Online? The Top 5 Websites for the Fashion Obsessed

I’m not even gonna lie, I shop a lot. Like, a lot. Clothes (and shoes) have always made me as happy as Carrie Bradshaw looks in this picture right here (if this is a healthy source of happiness is very much debatable). With that said, I pride myself on being an ultra-efficient shopper.

I’m one of those crazy people that need to have browsed everything before making a purchase, which means I always know what styles are available today, the different websites that have a certain item listed, and the website that has it for the cheapest. I don’t buy anything unless it’s a good deal.

So, here are the top 5 websites that I consistently and too often give my money to, just in time for after-Christmas and New Year’s sales! Merry Christmas and happy Christmas day shopping!

1. NET-A-PORTER

The ultimate luxury fashion destination. While I don’t often “check-out” when I’m online shopping on NET-A-PORTER, this is the website I most consistently browse for my personal enjoyment.

I love fashion, so this site keeps me on my toes in terms of what’s trendy and current.

I love looking at the over-the-top evening gowns that I know I will never buy because seriously, when will I ever get to wear those things? This is the place for great fashion finds, especially when there’s a sale (like they do right now). My greatest scores lately include these Ultraboost 20 Primeblue Sneakers for 60% off and this epic Balmain Leather Jacket for 40% off!

2. Intermix

This is the website for any fashion-obsessed city girl! I probably “complete purchase” here on Intermix.com the most.

The thing I love about this site is that there’s only a select number of items they sell, which makes my compulsive “needing to look at everything before I make a decision” shopping mentality easier to finish/complete!

This website also resembles my own style most; you can find anything from true luxury pieces to your everyday trendy sweatshirt. I just bought this super cute A.L.C. Sleeveless Knit Turtleneck Dress that’s perfect for brunch with the girls, date night with the husband, or a business meeting (here’s to hoping we can all gather safety again soon)! Did I mention all sale items are an extra 50% off right now?

One caveat I will make is that they have a less flexible return policy vs. your typical online shops. For example, a lot of their sale items are often final sale. Just something to note!

3. Revolve

This is the place I get my everyday dresses and such, especially if I am traveling and am in need of cute Instagram-worthy outfits. I don’t shop here much for my wardrobe essentials or luxe items, since the quality of clothing from Revolve can vary greatly, but there’s always amazing finds here and there that really adds to my closet! For example, I am eyeing this Caroline Constas Lola Smocked Dress right now - wouldn’t this be so cute for summer?!

I also appreciate how easy it is to shop on Revolve. The App is super intuitive, the filtering functions are specific, and the free 2-day delivery and easy returns Revolve speaks volumes.

For this, this is the gold standard for online shopping!

4. House of CB

House of CB is my biggest online shopping hack, hands down. This is the gold mine where I buy all my special occasion dresses and gowns, at seriously amazing prices. Just look how gorgeous this Mariella Black Velvet Strapless Maxi Gown is?!! It’s literally to die for, and you can own it for basically 200 bucks right now.

Whenever I show up in something from House of CB, people always think I’ve spent a million bucks buying something designer, and who wouldn’t want to feel like that?

For Christmas, everything on the website is 15% off right now. It’s worth calling out that the return process is a bit of a pain here. They don’t provide return labels, which means that you will be required to go to the post office or FedEx/UPS yourself to return things. With that said, I still think what you can get on this website makes that annoying return process worth it. Absolutely worth it.

5. Farfetch

Last but not least, Farfetch is another place I often visit to find luxury goods. It is an online platform that allows shops from all over the world to list their items, which is why you might see multiple of the same items at different prices.

The great thing about Farfetch is that, unlike other similar shopping platforms, it has a straight forward, free, and easy return process - even if the shop you’ve received your item from is abroad.

They provide clear instructions on how you can return these items, including the necessary customs forms. So feel free to shop safely!

Don’t forget to subscribe to their emails and get 10% off your first order! Side note… really really wanting this Red Balmain Blazer that’s 40% off right now!! Should I get this, ladies?? ;)
